Coordinator, Project

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create or Revise Purchase Requisition based on the latest Bill of Material (BOM) upon Engineer’s request.
  • Responsible in updating the following:
    • Bill of Materials; upon the receipt of the Purchase Requisition Form from the Requestor.
    • Document Register list; upon receipt of information from the Engineers.
    • Weekly project schedules; schedules for IAT, FAT, for Delivery and Assembly teams.
    • Weekly Billing Progress Report by obtaining data from the individual Project In-charge.
    • Project progress Report on a regular basis; for submission to management.
  • Assist Engineers to follow up in the tracking of Item to purchase, and highlight to Engineers on those items that are due for purchase; based on the BOM plan purchase date.
  • Create Delivery Requisition upon Engineers’ requests; with details given by the Engineers.
  • Create and compile Product Photo-book for customers.
  • Assist Engineers in labeling product items for ease of tracking and packing.
  • Assist Engineers to compile and consolidate multiple packing lists to ensure smooth and accurate delivery.
  • Print and compile official documents, manuals and drawings for submission to Customers.
  • Create “Project Instruction” (PI) for Aconex: Document Management System and upload softcopies of the documents accordingly.
  • Participate and write minutes of meetings for the Project team; if necessary.
  • Perform ad-hoc coordination related tasks as assigned by the Team Leader or HOD.

Note: Prioritization of tasks and utilization of project coordinators shall be managed and decided by the Project HODs.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
  • At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably Non-Executive specialized in Engineering - Electrical or equivalent.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft office software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A good team player and able to work within a multi-racial environment.
  • Good organizational skills and initiative.
  • Data Management Program e.g. Microsoft Access.
